Julie Carballo

Julie grew up in Long Island, New York. She attended Stony Brook University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with Honors. While completing her degree, Julie worked as a clinical research assistant for the World Trade Center Health Program and an emergency medical first responder. Outside the classroom, Julie competed in varsity women's rugby and coached intramural lacrosse.

After graduating, she then worked as a medical scribe and sub-investigator for Northwell Health in which she assisted in multiple clinical drug trials. Continuing her education at Albany Medical College, she graduated with a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies. Her clinical experience consisted of eleven medical rotations including Orthopedic Surgery.

Julie joined The Spine & Orthopedic Center in 2024 and is excited to provide compassionate, quality care to her patients. In her spare time, she enjoys surfing, running, and traveling.
